Muriel & Oscar founded Studio 921 in the spring of 2020 with a passion for Architecture and Interior Design.
Here at Studio 921, we use BIM software to aid in the efficiency of space planning and quickly and accurately depict an idea through 3D visualization which is beneficial in communicating design concepts with the client. This process is used for both interiors as well as building mass modeling. We believe that listening and collaborating with the client and the entire design / construction team through the design process will always lead to exceptional design as well as satisfaction for the client.
Oscar graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Art and Bachelors of Architecture. Since then, he has lived and worked in both NYC for a number of years and his native home area of South Florida (Miami Dade & Broward County). With his architectural and hands on experience in this field, he combine the skills as a really accomplished draftsman and a great space planner and architectural designer. Having worked on a multitude of projects across High End Retail, Single family residential, Multi Family Residential, Hotels and a Restaurant or two as well as hospitality, and commercial, Oscar brings a passion for all things design whether it be custom kitchens and closets, furniture & lighting or spatial planning to fine tuning details to give each project that extra touch. He believes that great design comes from the attention to details and good craftsmanship.
Muriel graduated from both Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors of Urban Planning then continued her education at Florida International University to earn a Master of Architecture in 2013. She then started her career as a BIM Manager, helping several firms Transition from CAD to BIM Software. Since then she has at held Senior Planning positions and Assistant Director positions at some municipalities down her in the south Florida region, making well versed in the process of Planning and Zoning as well as knowing the in’s and out’s of all requirements to successfully obtain building permits.
